I’m not often the type of customer that thinks to write a testimonial letter. In part, it may be simply because I’m not easily pleased or it may be that I just don’t have the time but in this case I am very happy to be able to forward you this thank you for a service exceptionally performed.
Over the past several years we have used a few of your competitors for our full lawn maintenance services with terrible results. We’ve found ourselves in contract auto renewals even with copy of accepted cancellation request. We’ve been double billed. We’ve been lied to that treatment was done while I sat in my kitchen and watched the gentleman never leave his truck except to stick a sign in the lawn. And even after all of this we cant seem to stop the incessant cold call campaigns from them to win back business they will never get again.
The situation became so bad that we elected to go without a service last summer and I did a poor job of it myself.
This year is different. With scepticism I agreed to engage Hometurf for the summer of 2011 based on a referral from a friend. From the beginning the process was simple, the customer care representative was courteous and offered options and fair pricing. We received notices of work to be done prior to the day and each time they showed and did a thorough job when they said they would. At one point they even rescheduled when I had negligently forgotten to unlock a backyard gate. In the end most important though is that my lawn looks fantastic.
